Phil Mandley
For over 20 years, I have been in the television industry. I began as a new photographer/editor in Mobile, Al,
and subsequently moved across the country and worked in many different television stations. I have covered hurricanes
in the Gulf of Mexico and prison riots in Atlanta. I've photographed the space shuttle launch and open heart surgeries.
I've seen the good and the bad that this world has to offer.
After years of shooting news, I moved into
the marketing and promotion aspects of the television stations that I worked for. I've worked with some of the most
talented people in the television industry. Through the years of promotion and marketing, I've learned what makes a
successful marketing strategy for the client. Customers!
How Do You Measure Success?
A successful marketing
campaign is not measured by how many awards a commercial/video receives. The true measure of my success is the ability
of the video to draw viewers/customers to the business. If someone watches the video and then goes to the website or
goes into the store, then the marketing has worked.
In 2009 I began working with several high profile companies in the Mid-South, producing videos for their websites.
As 2010 began, I wondered what I could do to help smaller businesses get the web traffic and customers that my larger
clients were getting. At that point I decided to offer the same high quality broadcast video production that my larger
clients were getting, just in a more budget conscience package.
